Annabelle Heslop

Born in Sydney and raised near Newcastle, Annabelle started dancing at the age of 3. At 9 years old she commenced her vocal training as well as competitive dance. Annabelle has studied dance with Kelly Sloan at Sloan’s Dance Academy and has studied voice with Anne Whale, Peter Hardes and Gary May.

Annabelle has been the recipient of various scholarships and championships across Australia including winning the Junior Tap Championship, Senior Song and Dance and Music Theatre Vocal sections at the McDonald’s City of Sydney Eisteddfod.

In 2014, Annabelle performed in the Tamworth Musical Society’s Seussical and My Fair Lady as well as portraying Abigail in The Crucible and Ado Annie in Oklahoma at Calrossy Anglican School. Following this, she received 97/100 in the NSW HSC Music 1 course and was also nominated for ENCORE, an annual showcase of the exemplary HSC Music pieces performed at the Sydney Opera House.

Annabelle is in her second year at Federation University, studying Music Theatre. Annabelle is very excited to join the team at Jete! for 2017.
