Olivia has been studying all facets of performing arts for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Ballarat, she has been involved in the local dance community since she was five years old. Since then, she has been performing in a variety of disciplines and in musicals at Ballarat Grammar and with BLOC and Lyric Theatre (Narnia, Miss Saigon & Rock of Ages). She is in her second year of her Bachelor of Music Theatre degree at the Federation University Arts Academy this year. Olivia has experience in a vast array of dance genres, such as classical ballet (attaining Intermediate in the Cecchetti syllabus), jazz, song & dance, contemporary and tap. She performed at the Royal South Street Eisteddfod in the dance discipline for many years. Miss Olivia is also a classically trained singer, studying with Constance Lemke and completed her Grade 8 AMEB exam in 2016 achieving a distinction. She trained in speech and drama with Sallyanne Vawdrey and Alexandra Meerbach, completing her Trinity College Grade 8 exam with full marks. Olivia has achieved a multitude of awards in this discipline at South Street over her seven years of study. During her time at Ballarat Grammar, Olivia played leads in several musicals and was awarded the Faculty Award for Performing Arts in 2014, as well as Performing Arts Colours in 2014 and 2015. She also completed VCE Theatre Studies, achieving a study score of 44. Miss Olivia loves to combine all of the skills she has acquired throughout her studies in performance and is passionate about passing on her knowledge to young aspiring performers.
